The Venango Museum of Art, Science and Industry, located in Oil City, was established in Venango County, Pa. in 1964. The museum displays interprets the early days of the petroleum industry that evolved along the Oil Creek Valley offers a combination of permanent and changing exhibits. Visitors to the museum enjoy the interesting exhibits, gift shop and special program offerings.

Drake Well Museum is located where in 1859 Edwin L. Drake drilled the oil well that is credited with launching the modern petroleum industry. Visitors to the museum enjoy the large wooden replica of Edwin Drake's engine house and oil derrick, the outstanding museum exhibits, orientation videos, the gift shop, special events, and the numerous recreational opportunities available.

This rustic "museum-in-the-woods" features a most unique collection of cars and memorabilia … it is the lifetime collection of Gene and Cora Burt. The collection includes over 5,000 die-cast cars, old toys, and antiques. Tyred Wheels Museum as had visitors from all over the world.

DeBence Antique Music World houses a marvelous collection of more that 100 antique mechanical instruments. The instruments date back to the mid 1800's to the 1940's. Jake and Elizabeth DeBence started the collection in the 1940's and, in 1965, they retired to Franklin, Pa. and housed the collection in a barn that they opened to the public to view the collection. Presently, this magnificent collection is located in the former G.C. Murphy Store in downtown Franklin on Liberty Street.
