Chamber to Celebrate Christmas Past 2007
The Venango Area Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the 7th annual “Christmas Past in Oil City” Celebration, which will take place November 30th and December 1st. This annual event attracts many area residents during the festive two day celebration. Christmas Past in Oil City is about experiencing a wonderful Holiday Season by shopping and dining in Oil City, visiting with friends and neighbors, and reminiscing about Christmases Past.

The goal of the Christmas Past Celebration is to be in the memory-making business. In the past, many community members have helped make this celebration extra special by dressing up in Victorian garments and appearing at various venues during the celebration. This special touch has made Christmas Past a superior community event for people to remember. We are asking community members to consider dressing up in Victorian garb again this year and also asking for community participation by encouraging individuals, businesses and organizations to decorate their own storefront windows.
