Annual Dinner & Recognition Ceremony

The Annual Dinner & Recognition Ceremony serves as the premiere event of the year at the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce. This event, held in February, recognizes the Chamber’s accomplishments, honors the Outstanding Citizens of the Year and recognizes the Chamber’s Volunteer of the Year.

Venango Works! Trade Show

Venango Works! And, we can prove it! It’s a great place to do business; to start a business; or for business-to-business commerce. The trade show serves as a business-to-business expo to further build chamber relations among members and the public. This year’s show will be held at the Cranberry Mall.

Chamber Annual Golf Scramble

The Chamber of Commerce holds several fundraisers throughout the year. The Golf Scramble is a fun fundraiser that includes golfing for four, delicious steak dinners, and lots of prizes!  The 2010 Golf Scramble will be held Thursday, June 10th.

Business  of the Year Tribute

Annually the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce honors a successful business within the county that: has been in business for no less than three years and exhibited a number of achievements such as increased productivity, business expansion, demonstrated commitment to community, and a reputation for good customer service. The Business of  the Year and the Partner in Business Awards will be presented at a mixer to kick off the 2010 Venango Works Trade Show.

Chamber Annual Steak Fry

The Steak Fry is a non-typical Chamber of Commerce fundraiser and networking event. The dress is casual. The scene is informal. But, some of our members get the best leads of the year from this event. You won’t want to miss it. Plan to attend, Thursday, August 19th at the Oil City Boat Club.

The Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee schedules Legislative Forums throughout the year, to update its members on local, state, and federal elections.
