Outstanding Citizen(s) of the Year Award
Each year the Chamber honors a citizen or citizens that have consistently evidenced civic leadership through volunteerism and service to their community. The Outstanding Citizen Award is among the Chamber’s most prestigious community recognition awards and is presented at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner.

Volunteer of the Year
Each year the Chamber staff select the volunteer of the year, the person that has assisted with Chamber events or activities throughout the prior year, advancing the mission of the Chamber. The award is a surprise until the Annual Dinner.

Business of the Year Award
The Venango Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Committee, made up of board members and past recipients, selects a chamber member business as Business of the Year.
The business must have evidenced two or more significant business achievements, demonstrated commitment to community, and have been in business no less than three years.

Visionary Awards
Annually the Chamber recognizes it’s business members that have opened a new business or purchased an existing business, contributing to the business vitality of the Venango Area. The awards are presented at the Business Tribute Luncheon.

The Chamber’s newest award presented at the Annual Working Women’s Luncheon celebrates a “Woman in Business” who has made a difference in the lives of others while contributing to the business vitality in our region.
