The Northwest Hospital Foundation was established in 1982, and exists today for one purpose: to support UPMC Northwest in its mission to provide high-quality health care for area residents. The independent, locally-controlled foundation is funded exclusively by gifts from individuals and organizations to advance health care in our community. Thanks to our donors' generosity, the foundation continues its tradition of funding construction, equipment, programs and services, building an endowment to cover future capital costs, providing grants for health awareness, prevention and education, and more.
