Youth Alternative's mission is to provide support, encourage and empower youth in the private, social, academic and other dimensions of their lives: to augment and/or compliment existing services in Venango County to youth. Programs include: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Justus Fellows, Steps to Tomorrow, Alternative to Suspension (Oil City & Valley Grove Schools), Skill Builders Program, Snack & Study, Children's Camping Program, and a multitude of after school and summer programs. All programs are free to participating youth who are registered with Youth Alternatives.

PPC Violence Free Network is a comprehensive victim service program of Family Service & Children's Aid Society. We work to prevent violence, protect victims, and advocate for change in attitudes about victimization by providing prevention education programs, supportive services, and by promoting social change in the community.

PPC Violence Free Network provides support services to victims of domestic and sexual violence and other serious crimes. Services Provided Include: 24-Hour hotline, emergency shelter, supportive counseling, first response to victims and PFA assistance. All services provided are free and confidential.

The Venango County Blind Association has been in existence since 1927 providing quality and consistent services to the blind and visually impaired and working to prevent unnecessary blindness.

Some of the services available from the Association include: Transportation and human guide services for the blind or visually impaired (such as doctor visits and grocery shopping); Reduced-cost eye glasses for low-income adults and children; Preschool, kindergarten, and adult vision screening; and Eye Safety programs and educational materials for children and adults.

VARHA, the Venango Area Riding for the Handicapped Association, has been providing therapeutic horseback riding for children, adolescents, and adults with special needs and/or who are considered "at risk", since 1980. VARHA provides horse assisted therapy for physically and emotionally disabled children and adults, from 2 - 70 years of age, encompassing the northwest Pennsylvania counties.
