  • Creative Peeps Art Club

    Chicken Coop Studio 306, Crawford Center, 511 Hill Street, Emlenton
    Creative Peeps are getting together once a month, on the 1st Saturday, to make art at the Coop. Join us as we explore different art mediums through a variety of fun projects. Each month we will focus on a particular subject or technique. At the end of the year, we will host an art show for all the Creative Peeps and their families! Ages 4+. (Children under 4 may join, but MUST be accompanied by an adult.) Deadline to register is November 1st or when space runs out. You are encouraged to register early to ensure your spot!

  • Antique Appraisal Luncheon

    12:00 PM
    Venango Museum of Art, Science and Industry
    The annual event will be held this year at the Venango Museum, 270 Seneca Street, Oil City, PA. The event begins with a luncheon and then the appraisers look at and talk about each item in a classroom type environment so that all attendees can learn about the antiques. Our appraisers this year are Mark Elliston , Neil and Lois McElwee and Loretta Strawbridge. To make reservations please call the museum at 814-676-2007 by the morning April 3rd. With your admission price of $25.00 you get your lunch and the appraisal of one item. The event is limited to 50 people.

  • Bowl For Kids' Sake

    Monthly meeting, Oil Valley Quilters Guild.
    Oil Valley Quilters Guild, National Quilting Association Chapter, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and education of quilting arts chapter of Membership is open to all who live in the Oil Region of Pennsylvania. Members of all skill levels are welcomed, from beginner to expert. Youth are given free membership with an adult member sponsorship. Membership dues are $25.00. Meetings include a program or presentation of quilting techniques. The guild participates in various charity and community outreach projects.

    Contact Dixie to reserve your kit. Kits are prepared when you order, so they must be reserved in advance.

    *Additional rulers may be required.

    Chicken Coop Studio 306, Crawford Center, 511 Hill Street, Emlenton
    The studio will be open every 4th Tuesday of the month from 6-8pm for anyone 18+ to come and work on a project. Drop in anytime during open studio hours! We have art supplies stocked at the studio (we ask for a small fee to cover canvases, etc.) or you can bring your own and just use our awesome space! It's a great chance to get together with friends. Coffee and water are available.

    Cost: FREE (donations are accepted to help purchase art supplies)
    or $5 to complete provided project.
