Each month we will focus on a particular subject or technique. At the end of the year, we will host an art show for all the Creative Peeps and their families! Ages 4+.   • Antique Appraisal Luncheon

    The annual event will be held this year at the Venango Museum, 270 Seneca Street, Oil City, PA. The event begins with a luncheon and then the appraisers look at and talk about each item in a classroom type environment so that all attendees can learn about the antiques. Our appraisers this year are Mark Elliston , Neil and Lois McElwee and Loretta Strawbridge. To make reservations please call the museum at 814-676-2007 by the morning April 3rd. With your admission price of $25.00 you get your lunch and the appraisal of one item. The event is limited to 50 people.

    Oil City (downtown & various areas)
    Local businesses, organizations, schools and other groups are invited to select an area of town to spruce up: tasks include sweeping sidewalks, washing windows, hand pick-up of litter, and raking leaves/debris from landscaped areas on downtown streets, public parking lots, parks and other areas. Shifts: 9 am - noon, noon - 4 pm, and 4-8 pm. Some supplies and refreshments will be provided. Groups are also encouraged to Adopt-A-Block and keep your area clean all season long!   • Oil City Uncorked Spring Wine Walk

    Downtown Oil City (South Side Business District)
    Stroll around town, sample from 13 regional wineries located in various south side businesses, and discover all the great things downtown Oil City has to offer! Participants must be 21, valid photo ID required at event check-in. All wine samples must be consumed inside the host business. Tickets $20 advance, $25 day of event; includes complimentary tasting glass and map with winery locations. Tickets available at Tipsy Chef, 45 Seneca Street (open 10 am – 8 pm daily) or online at www.oilcitymainstreet.org. All proceeds benefit the revitalization efforts of the Oil City Main Street Program.
