YeeHaw! Blue Grass Festival Returns
There is some real fun going on in downtown Oil City this weekend. Friday through Sunday, every half hour a new bluegrass band steps on stage to entertain a packed house on the fifth floor of the Arlington Hotel.
The Third Annual Oil Country Bluegrass Festival is the cooperative effort of the Oil City Arts Council and the United Way of Venango County. Two of the community’s busiest men, Ron Shoup and Bob Flath can be seen and heard as they run about making sure everything is just perfect. Bob Lavani, the hotel’s owner reports full occupancy with a waiting list for tomorrow night. Treat yourself and get on down here, but just in case you can’t, the event will be live streamed throughout the weekend.
